The World Food Day – 16 October 2021 – theme is Our Actions are our future. Better production, better nutrition, a better environment and better life. Collective action across 150 countries world-wide is what makes World Food Day one of the most celebrated days of the UN Calendar.
Through hundreds of events and outreach activities, governments, businesses, civil society, media and the general public promote global awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger and for the need to ensure healthy diets for all. For the second successive year, the world will mark #WorldFoodDay 2021 whilst continuing to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
