Gearing up for 2016

On 4th of January 2016, FoodBank South Africa conducted a branch managers training programme. The aim for the training was to transfer skills and further develop our operations as an organisation. The training was attended by all our branch managers and assistant manager, the 3 day training focused on a number of topics such as warehouse operations, human resource, fund development and finance.

Gearing up for 2016

As an organisation operating in a changing environment, we need to adapt to standards set by regulating bodies and assess our operations in order to minimise cost and increase our reach.

In order to work towards this FoodBank South Africa conducted a branch managers training programme with the aim of transferring skills and further developing our operations as an organisation. The training was attended by all our branch managers and assistant managers and the 3 day training focused on a number of topics such as warehouse operations, human resource, fund development and finance.

Currently FoodBank SA assists 500 beneficiary organisation who in turn serve over 115 000 beneficiaries throughout South Africa. Using these opportunities to better train our staff and streamline our operations it is FoodBank SA’s goal to substantially increase the number of people we assist in 2016.
