With more people going hungry, social entrepreneurs like Susan Wright will become even more crucial in helping address social issues within our communities. Wright established her proudly South African business, bonhappi-T in Durban in Aug 2016. Since then, bonhappi-T managed to raise funds to help us distribute nearly 700,000 meals.
Bonhappi-T makes South African-made casual apparel like t-shirts, golfers and caps and sells to customers from their online store (www.bonhappi-T.com) and through retails stockists. They are also popular among corporates and groups needing clothing for activations and their range even include dog warmers.
Every single bonhappi-T item helps feed one person one meal for a month. Wright approached FoodForward SA when she was thinking of starting the company. She wanted to establish a cause marketing partnership with FFSA because she felt that we are credible and have the expertise to feed South Africans in a way that would be enhanced by the receipt of monetary donations.
On behalf of the over 400,000 beneficiaries we reach, thank you, Susan, bonhappi-T and your #bonhappiTRIBE for your continued, amazing support!
