The Two Oceans Marathon – Africa’s biggest and most beautiful running event – turns 50 this year and they want to make history by surpassing the R5 million mark for charity. This year FoodForward SA is an official charity partner to the Two Oceans Marathon Initiative (TOMI).
This week FoodForward SA’s Managing Director, Andy Du Plessis will be attending the Food Bank Leadership Institute in London. The annual Food Bank Leadership Institute (FBLI) is attended by 150 food bankers from more than 50 countries. FBLI attracts not only food bankers, but corporate partners and thought leaders from across the globe to discuss the unique challenges facing the sector as they work to meet the needs of food insecure populations, while reducing food waste globally.
