FoodForward SA Celebrates 15th Anniversary Milestone

To celebrate our 15th-anniversary milestone, FoodForward SA hosted a special brunch to honour the commitment and dedication of our incredible network of sponsors, partners and donors.

Reflecting on 15 years of working towards a South Africa without hunger

Our annual stakeholder event aims to foster meaningful engagement, strengthen relationships and promote continued collaboration and alignment between FoodForward SA and our stakeholders.

However, since it is our 15th anniversary since our establishment in 2009, this year’s stakeholder brunch held special significance as we took the opportunity to commemorate key milestones and achievements attained along our decade-and-a-half-long journey.

Engagement and insights

The event’s format, curated to enhance engagement, featured an interactive “On the Couch with Jenny Morris” question and answer session.

Laughter filled the room as stories were shared, memories revisited, and insights exchanged.

Following this engaging session, our managing director, Andy Du Plessis, took the stage and provided an insightful overview of the current realities and highlighted our noteworthy accomplishments from the past financial year.

An abundance of gratitude to our ecosystem of support

As the brunch drew to a close, there was a sense of gratitude in the air – gratitude for our humble beginnings, to navigating turbulent times, to where we are today as a national organisation with a footprint in all nine provinces.

None of this would have been possible without the generous support of our donors, sponsors, partners and volunteers.

A heartfelt thank you to Gamiro Holdings and the Century City Conference Centre for making the event possible.

We invite you to join us in reliving the moments that have shaped us, inspired us, and fuelled our passion for change. Watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GpQ6itoKRE
