We’ve teamed up with Luno, a leading global cryptocurrency company on a mission to put the power of crypto in everyone’s hands. Luno has a team of over 800 and a presence in more than 40 countries including regional hubs in the US, Europe, APAC and Africa. For the first time, South Africans will now be able to make donations in popular crypto, Bitcoin, and contribute to the fight against hunger.
FoodForward SA, established in 2009, safely and cost-effectively recovers quality nutritious food from the supply chain for redistribution to its network of 2750 beneficiary organisations, that feed over 950 000 vulnerable South Africans daily.
This year, FoodForward SA aims to feed even more people. You have the chance to help by giving back. By donating R250 in bitcoin from your Luno wallet directly to FoodForward SA, you’ll be able to feed one person every day for an entire year.
