Eight years ago, Kellogg’s approached FoodForward SA (FFSA) to become its implementing partner for the Kellogg’s Better Days Programme, a national school feeding programme that helps children have a better start to their school day.
FFSA uses its national logistical infrastructure to distribute milk and cereals to approximately 37,000 vulnerable primary and secondary school children in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal as well as the Western – and Eastern Cape. Through their partnership with Shoprite’s Act for Change Programme, this partnership now includes the distribution of Kellogg’s Noodles to approximately 900 children attending early childhood development (ECD) centres in KZN and the Western Cape.
In 2021, the company aims to expand the programme to other areas in South Africa. Thank you, Kellogg’s, for helping us feed vulnerable children across the country!
