On 19 November, Altron, a leading technology and innovation company, selected FoodForward SA (FFSA) as a beneficiary of its national employee engagement programme. They chose FFSA because of our reputation as a national food distribution non-profit organisation.
“Altron has about 7,900 employees across the country and the food drive will help us replete stocks in our five warehouses as we near the festive period,” says Andy Du Plessis, FoodForward SA Managing Director.” FFSA has already dropped off empty food boxes to all the Altron sites which includes their offices in Limpopo so that the team can fill them with items they are able to collect. The food drive will run until 10 December. Says Chris Kabwato, Altron’s Head of Communication: “Altron believes in doing good business while doing good and it is a pleasure to partner with FoodForward SA on their Food Drive”.
