A special thanks to:

A special thank you to UCook, which has donated 70% of all the funds raised through the UCook Food Fund to FoodForward SA. The campaign raised an incredible R754,170, which will enable FoodForward SA to deliver almost 900,000 meals.

A special thank you to South African DJ, Black Coffee’s #HomeBrewed fundraising session on Saturday 16th May. His contribution enables FoodForward SA to distribute approximately 65,000 meals to at-risk individuals.  It’s heart-warming to see talent and goodwill converge into initiatives that change outcomes.

SA Rugby launched its StrongerTogether for R32-12 charity campaign on 19th May which has the Springboks raising money for hunger alleviation via the national raffle of cherished team memorabilia. Funds are directed to two hunger alleviation beneficiaries, of which FoodFoward SA is one. Each R32-12 ticket puts buyers in line for one of 44 prizes, which includes Siya Kholisi’s ’s jersey, Bongi’s boots and many other one-in-a-milion momemtoes and experiences. The campaign has been built around the score in the Rugby World Cup final in November, in which the Springboks defeated England, 32-12. To find out more on the campaign, click here, or you can head straight to Computicket to buy.
