The much loved Good Food and Wine Show, diarised in the calendars of foodies across South Africa, will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 27 to 29 May, showcasing top culinary cuisine, South African and international chefs, wines and also interactive experiences.
This year’s show will feature a brand new look and feel, with the theme being ‘Fresh’ and will offer eight new attractions including Wellness; Lifestyle; Wine; Beer and Alcohol; Kids; Market; Baking and Gourmet. Visitors to the show can expect an array of fun and interesting exhibits, food and wine tasting, cooking demonstrations and more.
Thanks to the generous donation of an exhibition stand from the organisers, Fiera Milano – Exhibitions Africa, FoodBank SA will again present the work that we do and hopefully raise much needed funds to help our organisation feed thousands of hungry people daily.
We will be joined by our ambassadors, celebrity chefs Siba Mtongana, Jenny Morris and J’Something who will be auctioning items such as signed chef’s jackets for us at the Celebrity Chefs Theater.
Last year visitors to the show helped raise R 14 960 for FoodBank SA, enough to feed over 30 people for a year! Thank you to everyone who donated.
