Cycling for a cause

In an effort to raise awareness about South Africa’s food hunger problem and funds to support the work of FoodBank SA, The Changing Workplace, a solutions development and client management company based in the UK, put together two cycle teams to take on The Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride.

One of the teams cycled 33km while the other took on a more challenging 77km. The teams cycled from Haywards Heath, a small town an hour south of London, through the beautiful English country side.

“At The Changing Workplace we believe in giving back, so when we learnt about South Africa’s hunger plight through our colleagues at our offices in South Africa, assisting in this manner was only a pleasure” said Eoghan McHugh Marketing Executive at The Changing Workplace.

The teams along with help from colleagues, friends and family successfully raised £125 (R2, 725), which will help FoodBank SA facilitate the provision of food for approximately 2,500 meals.
